Pixel Mystics was founded in 2006, and is currently owned and operated by Michael Todd Peterson. Prior to starting Pixel Mystics, Todd was the Production Manager and Studio Head at 3Plains, a seattle company specializing in advanced training using photoreal 3d graphics. Prior to that, Todd was the Director of the Software Division at Digimation where he managed over 50 software products and 20 developers with all products related to 3d graphics. Before his time at Digimation, Todd ran MTP Grafx, a small architectural visualization company based in Tennessee, for over 8 years. Prior starting MTP Grafx, Todd was a lecturer at the University of Tennessee for 3 years, teaching Architecture 231, Introduction to Computer Applications in Architecture.

All combined, Todd brings over 15 years of 3d graphics and animation experience to Pixel Mystics. In addition to his previous jobs, Todd has written numerous books on 3d graphics, compositing, and AutoCAD.
